| Tournament History
In 1989, former Wigwam Vice President and
General Manager Cecil Ravenswood, created the Interclub Challenge. His
vision and this tournament?s tradition lives on into 2014 and the 25th
playing of this Pro-Am event. The tournament and resort are a wonderful way
to begin the New Year. The Interclub Challenge has a loyal following of
teams from Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, South Carolina, California, Nebraska,
and Kansas. Please feel free to share tournament information with
any of your golfing friends!

About the Resort | |
Under new ownership since December of 2009,
The Wigwam is a 331 room luxury resort located in Litchfield Park just 30
minutes from Phoenix?s Sky Harbor Airport. Since opening in 1929, The Wigwam
has welcomed guests from around the world to a destination resort rich with
the spirit of "Authentic Arizona." The new ownership group, lead by former
Phoenix Suns owner and National Director of USA Basketball, Jerry Coangelo,
have made major renovations over the past two years updating and restoring

| Early Bird Arrivals
If you would like to arrive and day or two
early, The Wigwam has a special "Early Bird" room rate of $140/night for the
nights of January 5th and 6th(based on availability). There is also a special green fee of $45 plus
tax for golf and cart for those days offered to Challenge participants before
the tournament package starts on January 8th. Please note on your entry form
if you would like to take advantage of the Early Bird arrival special.
Eligibility
PRIVATE & SEMI PRIVATE CLUBS ONLY:
Each team will be identified as representing a private or semi-private club.
Only two amateurs need be from the same club for the team to represent that
club.
TEAM MEMBERS:
A team
consists of one golf professional and four amateurs with established and
active USGA handicaps. Two of the four amateurs should be current members of
the same private or semi-private golf club. The professional of the team does
NOT need to be the professional employed by that club. Amateurs will be using
85% of their USGA course handicap for both the team and individual
competition. The golf professional is responsible for verifying the above
eligibility requirements.
LIMITED FIELD:
The field
will be limited to the first 44 teams with entry forms and deposits submitted.
